It’s Only Me…✨

Many of you know me, I am eighteen years old, I have lived with Cerebral Palsy since the day I was born. Despite the pain that comes with it I don’t let it get me down, there is nothing anyone can do to change it so there is no point in letting it get to me. I won’t tell you all that it’s always easy because that’d be a lie, but I also won’t tell you all that it’s always bad because I’d be lying then as well.

Since I left school in the summer of 2015 I have had many opportunities given to me, up to the end of last year (2016) I have tried at them all. However, since getting increasingly worse and having anxiety that kills me daily I have had to stay at home. I am now in the middle of my first year as an open Uni student studying Play Therapy which I am loving, because I can do it all from home!

BUT… I also suffer from severe Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar, OCD and  Anorexia. The stigma around mental health needs to change, it’s not for attention it’s an illness just like a cold. I also hope though that by writing these blogs people will gain a better understanding and because of that be able to change their view and idea on mental health. I’m not for one second promoting these illnesses, please never think that! I am proud of everyone reading this who fight a mental illness, keep going and please never loose hope. You all deserve a place in this world❤️

So, I hope you enjoy reading my blogs and that they inspire you all to take a different perception on both these subjects, if you haven’t already. Thank you for all your support with regards to the challenges I have personally faced so far as well, it means so much to me. I also just want to add that, if any of you ever need to message me please feel free!

Finally, please feel free to share my page and blogs with everyone you know as well. The more people that read my posts the more awarness on health there is. So please sit back, relax and enjoy reading my posts.

Thank you,

Iesha
